Registration Packet is struck in Biographic Stage

In case the packet is not proceeding after the Biographic Verification Stage the most probable reason could be the ABIS in not pointing to correct Queue URL or there is incorrect pointing to the queue in property file. So we needed to check the below points for that:

The registration packet is stuck in biographic stage. Most likely the issue could be in ABIS middleware stage.

Solution

  1. Check in registration-processor-abis.json property file if it is pointing to the correct IP and Port.

  2. Check the config.properties file of ABIS if it is pointing to the same queue as in the above file or not.

  3. Start Real ABIS Properly and Verify if gallery-matcher.jar is running properly in ABIS Server.

  4. Once all the above clarification is done just needed to check if the ABIS-middleware stage is working properly and pointing to the same Queue. In case of discrepancy or other restart the Abis-middleware stage.

  5. Verify whether registration processor services were re started after switching on RBR, else restart the same.
